Our Process
Schumann Granite specializes in fabricating and installing natural and engineered stone surfaces for residential and commercial projects throughout the Texas Hill Country and beyond. Check out our five step process below to see how easy it is to get started.
01
Project Consultation
Each project begins with a Project Consultation held onsite at our showroom or over the phone. We will review your floorplans, discuss design & selections, and go over all of the information we will need to provide you with an estimate.
02
Selecting Your Material
We partner with the top stone suppliers throughout Texas to offer our clients an endless selection of Quartz, Quartzite, Marble, Granite and more. Whether you find the perfect material in our showroom or at another design gallery we will take care of everything to make sure your vision becomes reality.
03
Templating
A member of our Team will meet with you and/or your builder to template your job using our state-of-the-art Proliner technology. This ensures that your job is measured with the upmost accuracy. Straight, curved and very complex shapes can be measured with precision from every angle.
04
Fabrication
When your slab arrives at our shop we will photograph it with high definition cameras to achieve precision vein matching (if applicable) and input your slabs and the above template into our CAD program Alphacam. When your design has been programmed we send it to our CNC sawjet for fabrication. Once the slabs have been cut, our fabrication & polishing team work to create your desired edge detail and polish applicable raw cuts before it goes out for installation.
05
Installation
Our experienced installation crew led by senior installter, Juan Villa have more than 30 years of combined experience in the industry. They will arrive onsite with your material cut, polished and ready to install.
Once the job is complete our team will clean up the job site, answer any questions you may have, and give you instructions for cleaning and routine maintenance.

*Installation times vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the job however most jobs take no more than 1 day to install.
